ACCESS MONTGOMERY PRESENTS MAKING HISTORY:
MAKING HISTORY: A BLACK HISTORY MONTH SPECIAL explores the history of African-Americans and how their desire and persistence for a better life motivated them to survive. Viewers will journey through history honoring the past, showcasing not only legendary African-Americans and their contributions but also celebrating the accomplishments of Montgomery County residents today who are making extraordinary contributions to the community. This is illustrated through profiles of the Children of the Dream Award winners Ricardo Dunmoodie and Krista Fryauff; the Gaithersburg Literary Arts Award winners, Edward Krasniwski, Jersie Mbu and Katherine Rodas; and the Humanitarian Award winner W.
